Marriage-based green cards interviews in 2 months in NJ

April 27, 2011 § Leave a comment

In 16 years I have never seen this type of turnaround. It’s not in all Newark cases but definitely some.

Now, recall that Newark covers the vast majority of applications in NJ. There is only one other Immigration office in Jersey and that is a very small building comparatively.

Three questions emerge. 1. Is the system more efficient? 2. Are there less people applying?
3. Are there more employees at Immigration to handle the caseload?

My educated guesses. 1. Perhaps. 2. Probably. 3. It depends who you ask.

But it’s very good news.
