Anaheim Duck Lapierre misses game because he still needs a work visa

January 3, 2011 § Leave a comment

New Anaheim Duck Maxim Lapierre, who was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens, missed Sunday’s game because he still needs a work visa. Anaheim sent Montreal Brett Festerling and a 2012 fifth-round draft pick to get Lapierre. He has been allowed to practice with the team, but not participate in games. Coach Randy Carlyle wouldn’t take a guess at how long it would take Lapierre to sort out this issue. (rotoworld)
