A new government policy on deportation cases

If an application or petition is pending before Immigration, and a non-detained alien appears eligible for relief from deportation,
lawyers should promptly move to dismiss.

ICE reiterated its policy of focusing 1st on removing foreign nationals who have criminal convictions.

This sounds very good.

How it plays out remains yet to be seen.
