Maggie Dunsmuir is the newest attorney with Frank & York, LLC, in Newark, New Jersey.

Maggie prepares legal memoranda, motions, briefs and applications in the areas of permanent residence, naturalization, deportation, detention, asylum and visas for Frank & York.

As a background to her career as an immigration lawyer, Maggie clerked at the New York Immigration Court and Catholic Charities Immigration Services. She also interned at Advocates for Children of New York, Legal Services and Legal Aid.

A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Maggie received a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. She also studied at the University College Dublin in Ireland and an academic program in Guatemala.

Lauren Anselowitz is an attorney with Frank & York, LLC, who has worked here for four years.

Lauren litigates in deportation and detention matters before the U.S. Immigration Courts. She also does appellate work, green cards and visas.

Lauren is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School, the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy, and North Carolina State University. She also studied at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

Lauren served in the field of international criminal law for the Special Court for Sierra Leone. She lived and worked in South Africa as well.

Harlan G. York is a partner at FRANK & YORK, LLC.

Harley is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers Rising Stars. He is current Chair of the Immigration Section of the NJ Bar Association.

With 12 years of experience, Harley has litigated hundreds of deportation matters with particular emphasis in criminal alien proceedings throughout the country. He also handles family and business immigration cases.

Harley was Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of AILA, NJ Chapter. He has lectured for the Federal Bar Association, the NJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education and ILW.COM.

A graduate of Tulane University School of Law, SUNY Albany and Choate, Harley is fluent in Spanish.

Bob served as Chair of the NJ chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), which has over 10,000 members. Bob was actually one of the original 300 AILA members.

Bob is also an adjunct professor at Montclair State University. He previously chaired the Immigration Section of the NJ Bar Association.

With 34 years’ experience in immigration law, Bob is known nationally as an expert attorney. A former Fulbright Scholar, Mr. Frank is a graduate of Rutgers University and the Rutgers University School of Law. He is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
