Harley York just got back from a live interview on the Telemundo NBC NY/NJ 6PM News.

The issue was: “May an undocumented immigrant receive a green card when married to a US citizen?

The short answer is: “If you entered legally, you can get a green card in the US through a valid marriage to a US citizen, but if you entered illegally, you can’t.”

The long answer is: “It really depends on each case. A full consultation with the couple and a lawyer from our office is always the right way to find out.”

We always tell potential clients that we cannot resolve their cases by telephone or email.

It would be like calling a doctor and saying, “My head hurts. What do I do?” Without an examination, the patient does not know if he needs an aspirin or a CAT Scan.
